Meet Alan Rycroft

About Me / Bio

I grew up in the 50's and 60's and love the music from that era. In July 2021, I had the privilege to join IPL Radio (Inspiring Passionate Lives) and share the greatest music of all time, to listeners in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, on My Generation on IPL Radio. IPL radio is located in Rockingham, which is a coastal city located about 45km south of Perth Western Australia. I play music, primarily from the 50's, 60'and 70's, however, I do have some contemporary favourites (Sissel, Harriet, Angelina Jordan and Alison Krauss) which I regularly slot into the program. From time to time I include a short segment called Food for Thought, when I invite one of the local pastors to share an uplifting, encouraging word. I am a Christian, and although My Generation on IPL Radio is a popular music program, you will hear some gospel music from time to time. My Generation broadcasts every Tuesday fro 12pm to 3pm (Western Australian Time)
