I am a fertility nutritionist and love all things health and well-being. My area of expertise is fertility. I have a Master's in Reproductive Medicine and am passionate about the impact preconception preparation can have on successful conception, pregnancy, and a healthy baby. I also work in women's health and hormones. Perimenopause seems to have become a hot topic. My recent role as a radio presenter at IPL is an exciting one. I host The Wellness Exchange on Monday afternoons from noon to 3 pm. Each session is structured with a chosen topic/theme, which is explored in terms of the body, mind and then lifestyle. I am endeavouring to interview as many local experts in fields that relate to these areas. About me - I have taught for many years: English and Geography, which is what my first degree was in. Designing a 3-hour radio session reminds me of programming lessons. I lived on a wheatbelt farm for years, raising our family of 4 children, taught, grew lavender, established a cottage industry, and was a community player. Today, I live in Perth. My week is diverse, with a radio gig, naturopthic /nutrition consultations, tennis, yoga and enjoying my 12 grandchildren and friends. My latest achievement is a book I have written, Making Babies -100 days to a healthy conception.
